1. The Bible

That the Bible is the inspired, written word of God and that it is infallible and inerrant. The Bible has been divinely preserved in the Authorized King James Version. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practices for the believer and for the church. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, Matthew 5:18, Psalm 119:160, Psalm 100:5.

2. One True God

There is only one true and living God, Infinite, Everlasting, Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent. He exists in perfect unity as three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 9:6 + 44:6 + 46:9 + 48:12-16, 1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1-2 + 1:14.

A. God the Father

God is a Spirit and is perfectly holy, loving, and just. He is the Godhead and is deserving of all honour and glory. Psalm 99, John 4:24, Isaiah 6:3, Jeremiah 32:17, 1 Corinthians 8:6.

B. God the Son

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to Earth born of a virgin to live a sinless life being fully man while remaining fully God. He died, was buried, and rose again to be the propitiation for the remission of sins and to be the Saviour of mankind. Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:35, 1 Peter 2:22, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 3:25, 1 John 4:14.

C. God the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a person and part of God’s being. He is known as the Comforter. He is the One that convicts the world of sin. He is also the One that indwells, seals, teaches, helps, sanctifies, and intercedes for believers. The Spirit is also responsible for the manifestation of God’s gifts to men. Genesis 1:2, John 16:7-11, John 14:26, John 3:5-8, Romans 8, 1 John 3:24, Joel 2:28-29, Galatians 5:22-23, 1Corinthians 12.

3. Creation

Genesis chapter one is a literal, historical account of the creation of the universe.  Creation happened instantaneously as God spoke the words. Everything that exists has been created by God, whether spiritual or physical. Genesis 1, John 1:3, Colossians 1:16-17.

4. Satan

Satan is a living, created, fallen angel. He is the god of the earth and the power of darkness. He goes to and fro in the earth seeking whom he will destroy. He is known as Lucifer, the devil, and the tempter. His punishment has already been set as eternity in the lake of fire. Isaiah 14:12-15, Job 1:6-7, 1 Peter 5:8, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Revelation 20:10.

5. The Fall of Man

Man was created without the knowledge of good and evil. It was only when man disobeyed God in the garden of Eden that he was sentenced to the penalty of death. That penalty is passed down through man for all men have sinned. Genesis 2:16-17 + 3:6, Romans 5:12+19, Romans 3.

6. Salvation

Salvation is an instantaneous gift received upon believing in, confessing sins to, and calling upon the Lord Jesus Christ. At that moment man receives from God complete forgiveness, justification, sanctification, righteousness, atonement, and reconciliation. Once a person has received salvation his eternity is forever secured in Heaven. Rejecting salvation means to be condemned already. Romans 5:6-11+6:23+10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, Titus 3:5-6, John 6:38-40.

7. The Church

The church is a local assembly of new testament believers. The church consists of members that have been saved and baptized by immersion according to Christ’s command. It has two ordinances: baptism and communion. The church is absolutely self-governing with the purpose of fulfilling the great commission. There are two offices in the church – Pastor (Bishop, Elder) and Deacon. 1 Timothy 3, Ephesians 5:23-24 + 5:30, Galatians 12:4-5, Acts 20:28, Philippians 1:1, Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Corinthians 11:2.

8. End Times

The end times will begin with believers being caught up to meet Jesus in the air. Following this will be 7 years of tribulation. After the tribulation, Christ will return to earth to set up His kingdom for a 1,000-year reign. After this time Satan will be loosed for a season before being cast into the lake of fire forever. All his followers and anyone not found in the Book of Life will also be sent there with him. Then there will be a new heaven and a new earth where believers will spend eternity with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Matthew 4:29-31, Acts 1:9-12, Revelation 20:6+15, Revelation 21:1.
